About Halo du Soir

Our approach

Halo du Soir is an independent site about mouth-to-lung vaping, the tight draw where vapour is held in the mouth before it is breathed in. We write about pods, small pen-style kits, cartridges and how to look after them, in the belief that mouth-to-lung kit should stay simple, without complicated hardware or endless fiddling with settings.

What we publish

Guides to choosing a pod for a tight draw, explainers on versatile pods that open up to a looser draw, and practical advice on filling and caring for cartridges. Every piece starts from real use rather than from a specification sheet copied from a manufacturer.

Who writes it

Mehdi Arnaud runs the editorial side and writes most of the articles. He vapes mouth-to-lung and cares about what lasts, such as a cartridge that does not leak, an airflow setting you can find again without searching or a kit that slips into a pocket.

Our independence

Halo du Soir takes no payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage. Affiliate links may exist and never influence what we write. Sponsored content, when there is any, is clearly labelled as such.

Written for UK readers

Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Products sold in the UK follow the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap nicotine strength at 20 mg/ml, tank and pod capacity at 2 ml and refill bottles at 10 ml, so figures quoted elsewhere may not match what is on sale here.

For adults only

Vaping products are for adults, and nicotine vaping products cannot be sold to anyone under 18 in the UK. What we publish is editorial and is not a substitute for advice from a health professional.
