Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for halodusoir.com is Halo du Soir, which you can reach at contact@halodusoir.com. This policy is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect and why

We only collect what you send us yourself through the contact form, namely your email address and your message. We use it for one purpose, which is to reply to you, and we never sell or share it for marketing.

Lawful basis

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.

Who else handles it

Messages sent through the form are stored in a Google spreadsheet (Google Sheets), which acts as our processor. Google may process this data outside the United Kingdom under the safeguards set out in its data processing terms. Only the publisher of the site has access to the messages.

Cookies and third-party services

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page is displayed.

How long we keep it

Contact form data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your message, and is then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@halodusoir.com.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
